download link help?

Hello, I made an awesome skin for this mod and I don't want to keep it to myself. So I uploaded it to media fire and copied the link. BUT when I put it the post I got a message telling me that I needed to wait seven days or something. Is there something I did wrong?(or do I have to wait the seven days?) Or is there a better site for uploading files to Download? Please help?
